The practical details

Questions worth answering.

How free Beta submissions, editorial review, publication, analytics, and removal work in practice.

What is Paid Wall?

Paid Wall is a curated gallery for the independent internet. It gives good work a considered place to be seen: a project, publication, object, event, idea, or small business with a clear destination.

The wall is editorial, not an open directory. We care about quality, clarity, rights, safety, and whether a visitor can understand where a placement leads.

Can anyone submit?

Yes. Paid Wall is free to submit to during Beta. Create a submission account, prepare the work, and send it for review. You do not need an invitation, an existing audience, or a paid plan to be considered.

Being able to submit does not mean every submission will be published. We review every submission against the Submission guidelines.

What happens after I submit?

Your draft is saved in the dashboard while you prepare it. You add the image, title, description, destination, and required confirmations, then submit the version for editorial review.

A reviewer may approve it, request a change, or decline it. We may also pause or remove a published placement when a safety, rights, quality, or policy issue appears later.

What makes a strong submission?

Start with one clear idea. Use an image that is legible at card size, copy that says what the visitor will find, and a destination that works on mobile and matches the promise of the creative.

Good submissions feel intentional. Avoid clutter, fake interface elements, unprovable claims, aggressive urgency, dominant QR codes, or a wall of disclaimers. The guidelines include the full quality and safety bar.

Is publication guaranteed?

No. We accept only high-quality submissions and reserve the right to accept, request changes to, or decline any publication at our editorial discretion. A submission also does not guarantee a position, impressions, clicks, search indexing, conversions, or sales.

Paid Wall is a place to earn attention with good work, not a promise of a particular business outcome.

Can I revise a live placement?

Yes. Submit a revision from your dashboard. The current approved version remains live while the new version is reviewed, unless we need to pause it for safety, rights, or reliability reasons.

Material changes to the image, message, offer, or destination need review so visitors are not sent somewhere materially different from what we approved.

What do the metrics mean?

The dashboard reports aggregate viewable impressions and outbound clicks. Viewability means the system observed the placement in a meaningful on-screen position; it is not the same as a guaranteed human reading. Bot filtering, privacy controls, blocked scripts, caching, and measurement errors can affect totals.

We do not provide visitor identities to buyers. Metrics are directional signals for understanding attention, not an invoice, guarantee, or complete record of every visit.

What happens to published work?

Approved work may remain visible on the wall and in the archive after its active period. Archive visibility helps preserve the history of the wall, but it does not override a valid privacy, rights, safety, or legal removal request.

Tell us what needs attention at support@paid-wall.test and include the placement URL, the reason for the request, and evidence you are entitled to provide. A report starts a review; it does not automatically remove a placement.

Do you accept AI-assisted work?

Yes, when it meets the same visual and editorial standard as any other submission. You remain responsible for rights, likeness, accuracy, disclosure, and the claims made by the work.

Do not use AI to impersonate a real person, imitate a living artist in a misleading way, fabricate evidence, or produce low-effort bulk spam. Disclose AI assistance when the work, its source material, or the rules that apply to your destination require it.

How do I get help?

For account, submission, accessibility, rights, or privacy questions, contact support@paid-wall.test. Include enough context for us to find the relevant record, but never send your password or full payment-card details.
