Good work deserves clear terms.
These terms explain what Paid Wall provides, what submitters and visitors can expect, and the rules that keep a curated wall useful and safe.
Using the service
Paid Wall is a curated online wall for independent work, projects, publications, objects, events, and ideas. You may browse public pages, create an account, prepare a submission, and—when enabled—purchase a time-limited placement. Some features are in Beta and may change as we learn.
By using the service, you agree to these terms, the Submission guidelines, and the Privacy notice. If you use Paid Wall for an organisation, you confirm that you have authority to accept these terms for it.
Accounts and security
Give us accurate information and keep it current. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password, using a unique credential, and telling us promptly about unauthorised access. Activity from your account may be treated as your activity unless you have reported the compromise.
You must be legally able to use the service where you live. If a person below the applicable minimum age wants to use Paid Wall, they should do so only with the involvement and permission of a parent or guardian where required.
Your work and our licence
You keep ownership of the images, writing, marks, products, and other material you submit. You confirm that you own or have permission to use it and to direct us to display it. You also confirm that your submission does not violate another person’s privacy, publicity, intellectual-property, or contractual rights.
To operate the wall, you grant Paid Wall a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, reproduce, resize, format, display, promote, and archive your submission in connection with the service. This licence lasts while the relevant content is available and for reasonable backup, legal, and audit periods afterward. We do not obtain ownership of your work or permission to sell it separately.
Review, publication, and removal
Every submission and material revision is reviewed. We may accept it, request changes, decline it, pause it, hide it, or remove it. Editorial decisions protect quality, rights, safety, accessibility, and fit; a submission does not guarantee publication, a particular position, an audience, or a result.
If we request changes, do not assume the work is approved until the new version has passed review. We may leave an approved version live while a revision is being reviewed. We may act without advance notice when necessary to address safety, fraud, legal risk, technical abuse, or a credible rights complaint.
Destinations and claims
You are responsible for the website, product, publication, event, or other destination linked from your placement. It must work reliably, use HTTPS where required, match the reviewed creative, and provide the disclosures, terms, accessibility information, and consumer protections that apply to your offer.
Do not make claims you cannot substantiate. Health, financial, performance, safety, environmental, and comparative claims must be accurate and supported. If a relationship, payment, free product, or other material connection could affect how a recommendation is understood, disclose it clearly where the recommendation appears.
Beta submissions and paid services
During the current Beta, submissions are free. We may change, pause, or end Beta access. If paid placements become available, the price, duration, inventory, and purchase-specific terms shown before payment will apply to that order. The Refund policy describes operational refund handling and does not remove mandatory consumer rights.
Paid Wall does not promise impressions, clicks, conversions, sales, search ranking, or any other commercial outcome. Metrics are estimates produced by our measurement and abuse-filtering systems, not a guarantee of delivery or performance.
Acceptable use
Do not use Paid Wall to upload malware, phishing, deceptive redirects, unlawful goods, hate or harassment, explicit sexual material, exploitative content, or content that infringes another person’s rights. Do not probe, scrape, overload, reverse engineer, impersonate, interfere with, or attempt to gain unauthorised access to the service or another account.
We may rate-limit requests, suspend accounts, block destinations, preserve evidence, or report conduct to the appropriate authority when we reasonably believe these rules or the law have been breached.
Availability and third parties
We work to keep Paid Wall available, but the service may be interrupted for maintenance, security work, provider failures, network problems, or events outside our control. We may change or discontinue features and will take reasonable steps to protect active records when a change materially affects them.
Paid Wall may link to third-party destinations and use third-party infrastructure. We do not control those services and are not responsible for their content, availability, privacy practices, or transactions. Review their terms before relying on them.
Ending an account and resolving issues
You may stop using the service and ask us to close your account. We may suspend or end access when needed to enforce these terms, protect users, respond to legal obligations, or address inactivity. Closing an account does not erase information we must retain for security, legal, payment, or dispute purposes.
If you have a concern, contact support@paid-wall.test with the account email, relevant URL, and a clear description. We will review good-faith reports and may ask for supporting information.
Disclaimers and limits
Paid Wall is provided on an “as available” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties and do not promise that the service or any destination will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or suitable for a particular result. Nothing in these terms excludes liability or rights that cannot legally be excluded or limited.
You are responsible for your submission, destination, claims, and conduct. If your breach causes a third-party claim, loss, or investigation, you are responsible for the consequences to the extent the law permits. Any production version of these terms should identify the operator, governing law, dispute forum, and any required local notices before launch.
